Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
Canteen
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.
Our canteen is committed to providing delicious, healthy meals at reasonable prices. However, from time to time, we have to increase our prices to cover the increasing costs passed on from our suppliers. We strive to keep these increases as small as possible and continue to offer great food choices at great prices. The canteen is run by our parents and citizens association (P & C) . Funds raised contribute towards purchasing educational materials for the students. Canteen helpers are always needed. If you are able to help, even for just a few hours a month, your children would love to see you at school and we would love to have you.
Opening hours
The school canteen is open each Monday, Wednesday and Friday during both breaks in Term 1 and term 4. Hot food is only available during the first break.
In Term 2 and Term 3 the canteen is open between 8:30am and 8:50am for breakfast.
Ordering
Orders are to be placed at the canteen before 8:55am. The child's name, class and order should be clearly marked on a paper bag (can be purchased from a supermarket). Please ensure no foreign coins are included as these cannot be accepted. Halal products are available for all our burgers and chicken menu. If you need halal products in your order, let us know when you place your order. All hot food must be ordered as there are limited over counter sales.

Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

Our uniform shop can supply all of your child's uniform needs at Toongabbie West. It is organised and staffed by parent volunteers. The uniform shop is open every Thursday morning 8:45am to 9:15am. Any orders outside of this time can be taken to the school office and will be filled as soon as possible. Any enquiries please leave a message with the office and it will be passed onto the parents and citizens association (P&C) or you can email twpandc@gmail.com.

To place an order, choose the items you need from the form and leave it in the box located in our office.
Hiring our facilities
You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring of the facility doesn't interfere with our teaching and learning programs.
